2. Products & Services

The Moon Knows offers customizable digital poster products including Star Maps, Map Posters, Where We Met Maps, Moon Phase Art, Journey Maps, Coordinates Art, and Zodiac Constellation Posters. All posters are:

• Generated in real-time within your browser using publicly available data (map tiles, star catalogs, moon phase algorithms)
• Delivered as high-resolution downloadable PNG files (300 DPI, print-ready)
• Digital products only. We do not ship physical prints.

3. Pricing & Payment

Each product has a listed price displayed on the website. Free low-resolution previews are available for all products. HD print-ready downloads require payment.

Payments are processed securely through our payment partner Payhip. We do not store your credit card or payment information on our servers. All transactions are subject to Payhip's terms of service and payment processing policies.

4. License & Usage Rights

Upon purchase, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the downloaded poster for:

• Personal use (printing for your own home, gifting to friends and family)
• Printing at any print shop or online print service for personal use

You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the downloaded files
• Use the files for commercial purposes (e.g., selling prints to third parties)
• Claim the design as your own original work

5. Intellectual Property

The Moon Knows brand, website design, code, and generated poster layouts are the intellectual property of The Moon Knows. Map tile data is sourced from OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL license. Star data is sourced from publicly available astronomical catalogs.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information when creating your poster (dates, locations, names)
• Reviewing your poster design before purchasing
• Ensuring the content you add (names, text) does not violate any laws

7. Disclaimer

Our products are provided "as is". While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the absolute precision of star positions, moon phases, or geographic data. Posters are intended as decorative art and should not be used for navigation, scientific, or legal purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Moon Knows shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or services.
