• Poster content: Locations, dates, names, and text you enter while creating a poster. This data is processed entirely in your browser and is never sent to or stored on our servers.
• Payment information: When you purchase a product, payment is handled by our third-party processor Payhip. We do not see, process, or store your credit card details, bank information, or billing address.

Data collected automatically

• Analytics: We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand page visits and traffic sources. No personally identifiable information is collected.
• Geocoding requests: When you search for a location, a request is sent to OpenStreetMap Nominatim (a free, open-source geocoding service) to convert your search into coordinates. We do not log these requests. Nominatim's usage policy applies.

3. No User Accounts

The Moon Knows does not require account creation, login, or registration. We do not store usernames, passwords, or profile information.

Our website uses only essential cookies required for basic functionality (e.g., session management by our hosting provider). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party marketing cookies.

All poster generation happens entirely in your browser using HTML Canvas and JavaScript. Your data (locations, names, dates) never leaves your device during the creation process. The only external requests are:

• Map tiles: Loaded from OpenStreetMap tile servers to display maps
• Geocoding: Location search queries sent to Nominatim
• Payment: Redirected to Payhip for checkout
