What a workplace asks first
Does everyone need an account?
No. Only the person who sets it up signs in, with a link we email them. Everyone else adds their birthday and signs cards from a link, with no sign up.
Do you store birth years?
No. We ask for the month and day only, and we refuse any birthday with a year in it. Start dates are only kept if you turn on work anniversaries.
Can someone opt out?
Yes. Anyone can untick "Celebrate me" when they add their birthday, and the email on their day has a one-tap link to turn their own cards off. You can also remove anyone, which stops any card not yet delivered.
Do we need Slack or Microsoft Teams?
No. Your team page is one link that works in WhatsApp, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat or an email. When a card opens, we email you a message ready to paste.
What happens when a birthday falls on a weekend?
The card goes out on the Friday before, so the team can celebrate together. You can switch to the Monday after, or the exact day.
Can we make farewell or welcome cards too?
Yes. From your dashboard you can start a farewell, thank-you, welcome or get well card at any time and choose the day it goes out.
Who can see a card?
Only people with the link. Your team page and every card are never listed or searchable. On the day, we email the card to the person if they left an address, and you get the link to share.
Can we print a card?
Yes. Print files for any card are $14, once: a poster of the sky with every name beside its star, every message as matching pages, a phone wallpaper and a story-size picture.
